NOBODY SAID IT WAS EASY

On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Moiré Gallery Milano presents the exhibition NOBODY SAID IT WAS EASY curated by founder Ouafa Tahoun with collaboration by the Curator Domenico de Chirico. The exhibition presents the works of Kim De Ruysscher, Nicolas Denino, Margit Platny and Omar Hassan. The glass of Vetrofuso, table and lamp by Progetto Zéro, the vase by Isabella Garbaganti, the lamp by StudioHagit Pincovici, the table-vase by Andrea Sanguineti, the carpet Joggler Design by Elena Salmistraro - limited edition by Illulian, the capsule collection by Oscar de la Renta and the creations of Franzi Milano.

Andrea Sanguineti

Sanguineti grew up in Turin, with a passion for car design, art and architecture. He was fascinated by the architecture of Mollino, Gabetti and Isola, by the design of the cars of the Turin coachbuilders, by the art set up in Rivoli, at the GAM and in the city's galleries.


Franzi Milano

Founded in Milan in 1864, FRABZI is Italy's oldest and nobles luxury leather goods brand. Manufacturing and materials are entirely made-in-Italy, with a special focus on functionality. Each bag is a complex work of art and a symbol of FRANZI's craftsmanship.


ICONA ZĒRO

ICONA ZĒRO is back on stage. Always much more than a table, ICONA ZĒRO is a dream that turns out to be an unmistakable connection tool, capable of creating deep ties between the most distant worlds, starting right from design to embrace all the other arts, ORA ZĒRO brings to light.


Illulian

Illulian founded in 1959, today led by Shahnaz Illulian and his sons Davis and Bendis Ronchetti, is an exclusive point of reference in the field of antique and luxurious contemporary carpets, with collections which, in addition to being exclusive furnishing proposals, represent real works.


Isabella Garbagnati

Milanese architect and designer, lives and works between Milan and Paris. Since 2015 he has been creating, designing and producing limited edition lamps and furniture, also to order. The objects created are numbered and stamped and signed by the artist.


Kim De Ruysscher

Kim De Ruysscher (b. 1973) is known for his impressive sculptures and installations. After his graduation from the Sint-Lucas University in Gent, Belgium with a Masters diploma (1996), he moved to Carrara, Italy to specialize in sculpting techniques with marble in Accademia Di Belle Arte Carrara and Scuola del Marmo. He worked in various sculpting studios for a further 10 years before locating to The Netherlands.

Since 2014, De Ruysscher has been based in Varese, Italy with his work divided into several themes: time, nature, society, family and friendship. His sculptures are mostly made of natural stone and often inspired by everyday surroundings objects. His work has beenexhibited in Europe  such as Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Estonia, Latvia and outside Europe in Peru, Turkey, Canada, China.



Nicolas Denino

Nicolás Denino (Montevideo 1985). He works in Europe in the fashion field until 2019 when he decides to devote himself to art. He moves to New York then to Florence and from 2022 he is in Milan. His research ranges from painting to sculpture to ceramics with study and production stays in Morocco


Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta is based in New York and was founded in 1965 by the Dominican designer of the same name. De la Renta became known for his sophisticated and elegant suits. Over the years, the company has continued to produce clothing, accessories, shoes and jewellery.


Studio Hagit Pincovici

Born in Tel Aviv and lives between Milan and New York. She founded her atelier of bespoke luxury furniture and lighting in 2014. She is known in her early work for a rich palette of colors and materials and a devotion to the geometric shapes found in modern art.


Vetrofuso

Vetrofuso is an Italian artisan company founded in 1992 by the artist Daniela Poletti, specialized for more than 30 years in the production of dishes, home decor, bijoux, and much more, using exclusively Murano glass.
