COMPATTA, the new CEDIT collection
COMPATTA, the new CEDIT collection
COMPATTA
The Italian designer Federico Peri approaches the world of ceramic coverings for the first time and in doing so he looks at nature to investigate the theme of ‘soil’ in its deepest and most primitive meaning.
Collection COMPATTA recalls the primordial use of this material in the construction of dwellings. Federico Peri takes the ancient rammed earth building technique and expresses his personal interpretation of it on the large CEDIT slabs (Florim).
A perfect symbiosis between craftsmanship and technological innovation that recounts on the ceramic surface the rough, robust texture of raw soil, diluted by out-of-the-ordinary decorative elements.
