Between reality and fantasy
Exploring new shapes, textures and approaches SURTECO wants to demonstrate the deep relationship between materials and natural elements through creativity and imagination in the form of a garden.
A garden is as a place where humans meet nature and transforms it into structure, giving a new life to the materials they use through a new shape. In doing so, reality intertwines with fantasy and merge together.
The etymology of the word nature ( Latin natura) means birth. Could the earth and its different forms then be considered an intelligent, life-creating impulse?
In a garden, humans are free to create anything imaginable that can grow- not only seeds developing to plants, but also ideas, passions and goals.
Surteco wanted to use natural materials and one of the main they use, paper, to create a space between reality and imagination.
