A piece by Quayola for REFIN DTS – Daring Art Explorations
Ceramiche Refin presents Glint, a site-specific installation designed by Quayola for Refin Studio.
Glint continues Quayola's artistic research on observing nature and its phenomena through the use of complex technological devices. The title Glint refers to the fleeting yet intense glow of light on water when the sun directly hits it.
With this artwork, the company inaugurates REFIN DTS - Daring Art Explorations, a new project dedicated to contemporary art curated by Valentino Catricalà, which will be renewed every year with different artists for the production of significant art installations.
Admiring the audacity of his artistic vision, Refin has chosen Quayola as the first artist of the new DTS project to explore with him the relationship between nature, art, creativity, and new technologies.
