Events Guide

The world’s most pop fruit for MDW’s most pop event.

Pop Art is, by definition, a democratic form of art that is accessible to everyone. That’s why the Chiquita House is an open, colorful, and inclusive space where people can experience art in a spontaneous and interactive way. After the success of the 2024 edition, created in collaboration with Brazilian NeoPop artist Romero Britto, the event returns in 2025 with a brand-new look, starting with a fresh artistic collaboration with Sebastian Curi. As part of the Pop by Nature campaign, the Argentine artist was invited to reinterpret the pop essence of the Chiquita banana in his signature style. At the Chiquita House, his art comes to life through immersive experiences, blending analog and digital elements to create a phygital space dedicated to connection and engagement. The characters from Seba Curi’s campaign artwork step off the canvas and into the installation, transforming into interactive figures that celebrate the everyday bond between humans and nature through the consumption of bananas, the ultimate pop fruit. Technology further deepens this connection. Thanks to an interactive installation powered by Kinect® technology, visitors can turn into a Chiquita banana and see their movements mirrored by a digital avatar. The experience is completed with games, exclusive giveaways, and even the chance to generate a unique AI-powered pop sticker. All in true Chiquita style: fun, colorful, and naturally playful.
