Privacy Policy

User privacy is very important to Studiolabo, which is why the firm wishes to communicate with this Policy the ways in which it collects and uses information regarding its users.
Information pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and request for consent for the processing of personal data collected from the interested party.

The Data Controller is Studiolabo SRL, with registered office in Milan, Via Palermo 1, VAT number and tax code 06443950966, email: privacy@studiolabo.it, (hereinafter “Studiolabo”), communication design studio and author of the projects promoted with the brands and names of Fuorisalone.it, Fuorisalone Magazine, Brera Design District, Brera Design Days, Brera Location, Brera Design Apartment, Milano Location.

3. Purpose and legal basis of the processing

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

a) provision of the services requested by the user through the relevant section of the reference website:
– respond to user requests;
– provide and manage the services requested by the user;
– develop, personalize and improve the services, based on the preferences, experiences and common or personal difficulties of visitors and users;
– provide users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;
– consider the candidacy of Candidates for employment ( here is the dedicated information);
– comply with legal obligations;

b) direct and indirect marketing relating to the promoted projects:
– sending the Newsletter;

The processing referred to in letter a) is necessary for the provision of the service requested by the user, while the processing referred to in letter b) requires the user's express consent by placing a specific "flag".

It is specified that the direct marketing activity (carried out by Studiolabo for its own production projects) and indirect marketing activity (carried out by Studiolabo through third party agents) has the purpose of collecting and using data that is pertinent and limited to what is necessary for the purpose for which they are processed, to develop studies, research, market statistics, send advertising and information material, send commercial information, carry out interactive commercial communications.

The profiling activity, on the other hand, consists in collecting information on the profiles of companies and subjects actively participating in events and projects promoted by Studiolabo in order to improve the services offered based on the needs of customers who have given specific consent.

With reference to marketing and profiling activities, it is specified that, in the event of a lack of specific consent to processing by the user, it will not be possible to carry out the aforementioned activities.

 

4. Recipients of personal data

Within the scope of the indicated purposes, the user's data will be the exclusive property of Studiolabo and will not be transferred or shared with third parties, partners or clients of Studiolabo.

 

5. Data transfer to third countries

The Data Controller is not part of a group, does not have offices in third countries (other than Italy) and does not plan to transfer the user's data to other companies having their headquarters in countries outside the European Union.

 

6. Data retention period

Personal data will be retained for the period of time strictly necessary to pursue the specific purposes of processing for which the user has expressed his consent. Such Personal Information may be retained even after the cessation of use of any particular service, to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes regarding our users, prevent fraud and abuse, respect the contracts entered into and/or protect our legitimate interests.

 

7. Rights of the interested party

The user may, at any time, exercise the rights indicated below.

  1. Access to personal data: obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and, where that is the case, access to the following information: the purposes, the categories of data, the recipients, the retention period, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, the right to request rectification or erasure or restriction of processing or to object to processing as well as the existence of an automated decision-making process;
  2. Request for rectification or cancellation of the same or limitation of the processing concerning him; "limitation" means the marking of the stored data with the aim of limiting their processing in the future;
  3. Objection to processing: to object for reasons related to your particular situation to the processing of data for the performance of a task of public interest or for the pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Owner;
  4. Data portability: in the case of automated processing carried out on the basis of consent or in execution of a contract, to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, the data concerning him/her; in particular, the data will be provided by the Data Controller in .xml format, or similar;
  5. Revocation of consent to processing for marketing purposes, both direct and indirect, market research and profiling; the exercise of this right does not in any way affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the revocation;
  6. Submit a complaint pursuant to art. 77 GDPR to the competent supervisory authority based on your habitual residence, place of work or place of violation of your rights; for Italy, the competent authority is the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, which can be contacted via the contact details provided on the website www.garanteprivacy.it.

The aforementioned rights may be exercised by sending a specific request to the Data Controller through the contact channels indicated in art. 1 of this information.

Requests relating to the exercise of the user's rights will be processed without unjustified delay and, in any case, within 30 working days from the request; only in cases of particular complexity and number of requests, this term may be extended by a further 60 days.

 

8. Communication and provision of data

The provision of data by the user is mandatory as it is necessary to provide the requested service. Therefore, any refusal by the user to provide data may result in the failure to provide the service, to the extent that such data is necessary for such purposes.

 

9. Changes to Studiolabo's privacy policy

Applicable law and Studiolabo’s practices change over time. If Studiolabo decides to update its privacy policy, it will post the changes on its Sites and communicate them through its newsletter. If the way in which Studiolabo processes personal data changes, it will provide advance notice, or where required by law, request consent before implementing such changes. Studiolabo strongly recommends that you read its policy and stay informed about it. The privacy policy was last modified in January 2025.

11. Cookie

Studiolabo collects and records information from users' browsers when they visit its Sites, which may also include personal data.

Studiolabo uses cookies and pixel tags to monitor the use of the Sites by its users and to understand their preferences (such as country and language choices). This allows it to provide services to its customers and improve their online experience. It also uses cookies and pixel tags to obtain aggregate data relating to traffic to each site and interaction on each site, to identify trends and obtain statistics so that it can always improve its Sites.

There are essentially three categories of cookies used on Studiolabo Sites:
