METAMORPHOSIS - From inspiration to engineered matter

Sicer’s debut takes shape within Arte in Salotto, an exhibition space in the heart of Brera, on Via Milazzo, conceived as an environment where ceramic material is offered for direct observation in its technical complexity and sensory quality.

An installation of absolute formal rigor symbolizes this transformation, where nature and ceramic design merge seamlessly through a process that appears almost alchemical, such is the perfection of the result, yet is in fact the outcome of the most advanced chemical and application technologies.

Among the key materials featured in Metamorphosis is the “Rosso Cardinale” project, born from an exclusive collaboration with Margraf, an Italian excellence in marble processing. Through Ipogeo technology by Margraf, the marble is worked at surface level, enhancing veining and highly distinctive details that normally remain hidden within the stone’s structure.

Sicer starts from this evolution of material and translates it into ceramic form.

The exhibition unfolds in three stages: material in its primary form (marble), its technological transformation, and the ceramic result delivered to manufacturers and brought into the world.

Chemistry, digital experimentation, industrial technology, art, and the ability to anticipate trends: Sicer reinvents ceramic material by engineering it.
