LRNCE unveils Slow Roads: their first furniture collection

LRNCE, the Marrakech-based design studio known for its distinctive fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, debuts its first-ever furniture collection, Slow Roads, at Milan Design Week 2025. This striking new collection of hand-crafted pieces, reaffirms LRNCEs commitment to preserving traditional Moroccan craftsmanship through a contemporary lens.

Slow Roads, shows a maturation and natural evolution in the work of founder and designer Laurence Leenaert. She continues to push the boundaries of craft by collaborating with master artisans across Morocco to explore new textures and techniques while honouring the integrity of slow production.

Each piece is a limited-edition dialogue between the artisan and the material, exemplifying LRNCE’s signature aesthetic: tactile, expressive, and deeply rooted in North African heritage, yet seamlessly attuned to contemporary interiors.Marking a departure from ceramics and decorative objects, the Slow Roads collection introduces a more architectural, functional approach.
