Art and Design in dialogue: in the silence of a hidden court

In the heart of Brera, art and nature, two visions meet in a dialogue between matter and form. On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025, Galleria Michela Cattai and the outdoor design brand Jwana Hamdan transform the setting of Via Brera 4 into an immersive space.

Michela Cattai – Arborea Vitrea

Artist and designer Michela Cattai presents Arborea Vitrea, a collection of blown glass sculptures exploring the metamorphosis of nature through the mastery of Murano’s glass furnaces. Each piece, entirely hand-shaped, challenges the limits of glass, creating a balance between strength and fragility, transparency and density. With sophisticated color palettes and organic shapes, her creations inhabit the space as living presences, bearing witness to a plastic language in constant evolution.

Jwana Hamdan – Al Bustan

The outdoor design brand Jwana Hamdan, founded by the Italian-Lebanese entrepreneur of the same name, presents Al Bustan, a sanctuary inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern gardens. A peaceful oasis where woven fabrics, natural tones, and harmonious geometries create an enveloping and refined atmosphere. The Wandering Majlis collection reinterprets the concept of conviviality, with furnishings designed to encourage sharing and dialogue, blending tradition with modernity.

A meeting of two expressive worlds, an invitation to slow down, breathe, and rediscover the beauty of matter in transformation.
