Our work continues on the themes of lightness, invention, and ideography. Our ideal alphabet expands with new letters and tells new stories of light. Each creation is a meeting point between poetry and industry, between functionality and aesthetics.
The aesthetic of Davide Groppi applied to light, over four decades, has become recognizable, giving rise to a unique collection. Davide Groppi’s journey, which began in 1988, is told in the retrospective exhibition "Davide Groppi. Un'ora di luce", presented by Volumnia and curated by Marco Sammicheli. Through lamps, luminous constructions, and scenographic intuitions, the exhibition gives depth to darkness and substance to light. The exhibition will take place from March 26 to May 26 (10:00–13:00 / 15:00–18:00) at Volumnia (Stradone Farnese 33 - Piacenza).
