What the surface remembers

An exploration of steel and the traces left by time

Wilkhahn explores the dialogue between material and time. The exhibition reflects on surfaces as records of transformation, where industrial precision meets artistic interpretation.

At its center is the WiChair – defined by material honesty and circular design. Together with steel sculptures by Aya Sasakura and documentary photography by Frank Schinski, the installation celebrates steel as a living medium, capturing the imprints of nature and the human touch.
