Rosenthal in the Brera Design District

Moments to Give. Design as a gesture

On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2026, Rosenthal is presenting a special exhibition dedicated to the conscious act of giving in the heart of the Brera Design District. Under the title Moments to Give, the company will be showing selected new products and iconic objects at Michela Cattai's Gallery Art + Design at Via Brera 4 in Milan from April 21 to 26.

In an age of constant acceleration, Rosenthal sees gift-giving as a conscious decision. Moments to Give understands design not as a consumer good, but as a gesture of attention, closeness, and responsibility. The objects on display represent moments of gratitude, appreciation, connection, or reflection. They are things that shape relationships, create memories, and endure beyond the moment.

The exhibition invites visitors to create their own personal moments to give. It creates a space that encourages pause and promotes mindfulness towards one's own relationships. Rosenthal shows how design can help express and strengthen appreciation, gratitude, and connection. The new products thus become means of communication, small gestures that create closeness and carry meaning.

The presentation focuses on numerous new products in the giftware sector. These include scented candles, vases, coasters, vide poches, and mugs with lids. Selected iconic products that have accompanied Rosenthal for generations complement them. Together, they form a curated collection of small gestures with a lasting effect.

Two collections designed specifically by Michela Cattai from glass play a special role. The close creative collaboration and the exhibition venue itself have therefore been deliberately chosen. Michela Cattai's studio becomes the setting for a dialogue about design, materiality, and meaning.

Rosenthal sees every object as a project. Characterized by attitude, care, and the demand for longevity. Here, design is defined not only by form, but also by the values it conveys and the moments it enables.

With Moments to Give, Rosenthal celebrates gift-giving as a human, cultural, and social practice, reminding us that even small gestures can have great significance.
