Leather becomes architecture
Studioart Leather Interiors unveils 20 in the Making at a temporary showroom in Via Solferino 37, in the heart of the Brera Design District.
The project marks twenty years of research into leather as an architectural covering for walls and ceilings, tracing the company’s evolution through materials, textures and design applications.
The exhibition presents iconic products reinterpreted in new color palettes alongside projects developed by students from NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, invited to explore new expressive possibilities of the Leatherwall system through the reuse of leather offcuts.
20 in the Making frames design as an open and evolving process, where material experimentation, research and emerging generations of designers come into dialogue.

NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Studioart Leather Interiors, students from the Design Area’s Masters of Arts at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti were involved in a contest to create a Leatherwall pattern celebrating the company’s values and contemporary vision.
