Bridging spaces, cultures and technologies
As part of Brera Design Week 2025, Valcucine intertwines innovative disciplines to create an active dialogue between cultures and expertise, smart homes, and kitchen environments, connecting with the city and people to explore new possibilities for future living.
Valcucine renews its participation in Milan Design Week, continuing the dialogue initiated last year. The focus remains on the Scenari concept, now enriched with new perspectives through a broader interconnection between architecture, design, and emerging disciplines.
With the Connected Scenarios concept, the Valcucine Milan Brera showroom transforms into a hub for reflection and dialogue between designers, architects, and visionaries from cross-disciplinary sectors, alongside brand partners such as e15 and Rakumba. Together, they will explore the value of connections in the contemporary design world.
Inside and outside the Valcucine space, designed in collaboration with three renowned international architecture studios – Neri&Hu, i29, and ARRCC – the Speakers' Corner of Connected Scenarios will come to life. These will be a series of interviews and discussions offering fresh perspectives on the central themes of Milan Design Week 2025. The conversations will explore how the integration of physical and digital worlds, dialogue between cultures, inclusive design, and sustainability can redefine our way of living and interacting with the built environment.
At the heart of these conversations will be the kitchen scenario, a space for interaction and connection. It serves as both a symbolic and functional backdrop for exploring how design can improve our daily lives, foster social relationships, and promote resource conservation and well-being through innovation.
Within Connected Scenarios, the Speakers' Corner will act as a think tank where some of the most authoritative voices in the fields of design, architecture, and innovation will outline future scenarios and development trajectories for the sector. Confirmed protagonists include high-profile figures such as Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District (d3), Nicola Ricciardi, director of miart, Alessandro Mininno, founder of Flatmates, and Luca Molinari, internationally renowned architect, critic, and curator. They will be joined by designers from e15, Rakumba, and other industry experts, contributing to a collective dialogue that blends creative talent, technology, and sustainability to imagine a more connected, inclusive, and forward-looking future.
By placing the kitchen at the centre of this dialogue, Valcucine reaffirms its authority in the sector and its role as a cultural driver in the design world, stimulating reflections on how the design approach can transform the way we live and interact with our surroundings.
Smart Home Technology Redefining the Kitchen Experience
Within the context of Connected Scenarios, where design merges with technology, sustainability, and human interaction, Valcucine, through its visionary approach, redefines the kitchen experience via smart home technology. It transforms the kitchen into a space where design, technology, and space converge in a unique balance, redefining the concept of living.
The integration of intelligent solutions transforms the kitchen environment into a fluid, interactive space capable of dynamically adapting to everyday needs, improving comfort and efficiency.
Always a pioneer in the evolution of ergonomics, Valcucine has anticipated the future by designing solutions that enhance the relationship between people and their living space. Today, with the integration of smart home technology, this research takes another step forward. Intelligent systems allow kitchen management via apps or voice commands like Alexa, transforming daily routines into a seamless, natural experience.
A connected ecosystem where technology amplifies movement freedom and functionality, creating a space that dynamically adapts to the needs of contemporary living. This evolution goes beyond simple automation, forging a perfect harmony between innovation and well-being.
