Portanuova Vertical Connection
A site-specific immersive installation
Portanuova Vertical Connection is a site-specific immersive installation that interprets the Fuorisalone 2025 theme, “Connected Worlds.” The modular, zero-impact layher structure blends architecture, technology, and nature in a physical and digital journey. Artificial Intelligence guides the experience, transforming visitors' inputs into visual and sound content. In collaboration with Prof. Mancuso, the installation explores the relationship between urban greenery and the cities of the future. The plants used will be returned to nature or adopted by visitors. A journey through sustainability, innovation, and interaction.
Among the brand partners, Ecoalf, which with its "From Earth to T-Shirt" campaign is actively engaged in regenerating the soil and generating a positive impact on human beings. It is not just about fashion, but a real challenge to rewrite the relationship between man and planet, contributing to the recovery of the soil and the return of what the Earth offers us. Through a video that tells the story of the project in Ahmedabad, India, visitors can discover and understand the regeneration process, also observing closely the fruits derived from the regenerating cotton seeds. The project allowed the brand to regenerate over 50,000 m2 of land, working with 4,000 farmers.
